The big 0-1!

We are knee deep in party planning here in the Testa household! I can't believe in that in less than 6 weeks, my baby boy will be one! I'm excited, nervous and sad as hell all at the same time.

For C's birthday party, we're keeping it pretty simple in terms of decorations (re: cheap!). Here are some of my ideas:

The banner! I'll change the colors and I have a different plan for the photos. The best part? Making this banner is practically free to me. Holla!

The smash cake will be similar to this design...but waaay smaller. Everyone else is getting sheet cake.

And of course, no birthday party is complete without loads of balloons and food. And there will be plenty of both :) 

I can't even tell you how excited I am to celebrate my boy's first year. I wish I had the budget to go big but I have to admit, it's fun finding ways to be cheap but still creative.
