Updates and photo dump

Warning: This is a completely random and somewhat incoherent post. Read at your own risk - though there are some good pictures!

Colin had his 9 month check up a couple weeks ago. He weighs 18 pounds 2 ounces (20th percentile), is 28.5 inches long (50th percentile) and his head circumference is 45 cm (50th percentile). He got a clean bill of health. He says "da da da" a lot...which breaks this mama's heart! He's starting to get stranger anxiety but mostly only with men. If I'm in the room, he wants to be near me. And if I leave the room or walk past him without stopping, he usually screams until I acknowledge him. Attachment parenting at it's best :-). He's more objective, too. If we take a toy or anything he's playing with away, he gets fuming mad.

Mark and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary today (September 26th). Mark's parents offered to keep Colin overnight for us last night. It was nice to have an adult only evening but we definitely missed him. Mark slept in until 9 this morning and I actually had time to do some Pilate's and get a run in.

 In other news, I think I am finally finished with the living room make over. I hung some red cube shelves to add some visual balance to the large wall. It's not a major Betty but a vast improvement - name that movie ;-). I do love all the color the room has now. It's perfect for fall - a season the Testa household is opening with wide open arms!
