I'm just going to come out and say it: I've gained weight. Not a lot. Not enough to be visible by anyone but me (I hope!). In reality, it's only about 4 pounds. But it's enough to make me feel like yuck.
I know it's a direct result of my lack of activity. I'm still learning the ropes at my new job so most days, I'm surprised to see it's 3 o'clock and I've barely gotten away from my desk long enough to get a glass of water. I have also been so exhausted at night that I just want to lay down and not move...also due to my lack of activity I believe. I just have absolutely no energy.
And that's gotta change. This mama doesn't have time to have no energy :)
Starting on Monday I will be instilling a few new rules for myself:
1. Get outside and walk for at least 1 of my breaks every day. It has to be a full 15 minutes of getting my booty moving.
2. Go to the gym 3 days and do 2 days of yoga at home.
3. Choose healthy meals and snacks.
4. Limit dairy.
5. Limit refined sugar.
That's it! I'm hopeful this will be the jump start I need to get these extra few pounds gone for good. I want to feel my best this week. I've got my high school reunion and my bestie's 30th birthday party to look hot for!
