5K Training - Week 2

This week was tough. That's all I've got. I was exhausted and didn't give 100% at every workout. But I still did what I had to do. Here's the scoop:

Monday: 2 minute walking warm up at speed 3.5. Run: 10 minutes at 5.0. Walk: 5 minutes at 4.0. Run: 10 minutes at 5.4. Walk: 5 minutes at 4.2. Run: 6 minutes at 5.6. Total miles: 3.10. Total minutes: 38.

Tuesday: Off

Wednesday: 2 minute walking warm up at speed 3.5. Run: 11 minutes at 5.5. Walk: 5 minutes at 3.5. Run: 5 minutes at 6.0. Walk: 2 minutes at 3.0. Result: 2.10 miles in 25 minutes.

Thursday: Walked 2.53 miles at various speeds for 40 minutes.

Friday: Off

Saturday: I took this workout outside. I have no idea how far or how long I ran. I just ran until I couldn't run any more. I have to say...I did pretty damn good!

I'm super excited for the 5k. I can't wait to see how far I can actually push myself. I do need to get a stop watch of some sort, though. It would be nice to be able to pace myself during runs at aren't on a treadmill.
